FASIV is the music of Frank Abreau Salazar IV. The  project started as an outlet for Frank to release his experimental home recordings and other songs that didn't quite fit with his then San Francisco based rock band, Strange Hotel. As Strange Hotel disbanded, FASIV became the main musical vehicle for the singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. 

Since becoming Frank’s primary musical outlet, FASIV has released two retro rock records through Bad Reputation records based out of Paris, France and has toured the west coast extensively. Other highlights include opening for classic rock legends Boston and Eric Burdon, as well as a SXSW, Red Gorilla, and NAAM showcase.

After many genre and line up changes, FASIV currently performs as a solo singer song writer in the vein of Nick Drake, Elliott Smith and Conor Oberst. Now based out of Seattle, Washington, FASIV is in the the process of recording his latest album.
