Old People is made up of the songwriting duo of Nick Martus and Dave Hall, backed by percussionist Aaron Blumenthal and bassist Ross Gilliland. Their music blends and exists between a number of genres, but an emphasis on arrangement and melody unites their variety of styles. Avid fans of classic rock, jazz, and the timeless songwriters of their parent's generations, the moniker Old People summarily describes their sound and musical bearing. Friends from the age of five, Nick and Dave are native Californians who have begun to establish themselves in the Seattle area, while collaboration with local musicians Aaron and Ross has grown their duo into a four-piece of fantastic Old People!
