Seattle's Amy Viking originated when Nicolai Wallace and Max Olson met at a diner at the age of 14. They immediately realized they were musical gangbangers and started writing music out of Nicolai's bedroom.
After 11 years writing and playing with revolving bandmates, the duo met drummer Sam McDonald and bassist Sam Calhoon through mutual friends and formed Amy Viking. Max and Nicolai also moonlight doing duet shows together as a two-piece.
